Invitation letters for students recommended for summer school were sent home last week. Students identified for summer school were selected based on multiple data points indicating a need for accelerated instruction.
If your child received a letter, please complete the backside by acknowledging attendance, requesting transportation if needed, and providing all pertinent information required for summer school registration.

We are excited to celebrate our Kindergarten Awards - Graduation Ceremony on Friday, May 22nd! 🎉 Below is important information to help your child prepare for this special day:
📅 Date & Time:
May 22nd – Kindergarten Graduation @ 1:30 PM
Doors will open 10 minutes prior to the ceremony.
📍 Location:
Smith Elementary Cafeteria
Students will be seated with their class.
🎓 Graduation Attire:
All students will be provided with a red graduation gown and matching mortarboard cap to wear during the ceremony.
Boys:
White collared shirt
Dark pants or jeans
Dress code appropriate shoes
Girls:
White collared shirt
Dark pants, jeans, or skirt
Dress code appropriate shoes
Hair worn down or in a low ponytail
(Please avoid large bows or high ponytails to ensure caps fit properly.)
🎁 Keepsake Tassels:
If you would like to purchase a tassel as a keepsake for your child’s Kindergarten Graduation, please visit the Smith Webstore. Tassels are $10.
